I'm a Dutch Freelance Visual Effects artist with more than ten years of experience in high-end FX TD and Compositing work for films and commercials, while also having a solid 3D generalist background.

Originally coming from a 3DSMax and Maya background - Houdini and Nuke are now my main tools of the trade.

​

For the past nine years I've been working hard at The Panics ( formerly Post Panic ) and I've decided to go test my luck at freelancing.

​

Over the years at The Panics I've worked in many different types of  projects and software and have gotten familiar with many different types of workflows. I've also had the pleasure to supervise some technically complex projects, which I enjoyed very much.

​

My main focus at The Panics was usually FX ( particles, smoke, water, liquid, or more procedural technical effects ), Compositing and pipeline management ( shotgun and ACES color management ). 

​

From being the lead technical supervisor on large VFX heavy theme park rides to solving difficult tracks / matchmoves, or creating detailed FX simulations to making photoreal, esthetic or technical comps. I've done it all multiple times over.

I'm always open to learning new things and techniques, and I absolutely love solving technical and creative challenges.

​

I think this combination of strong FX and compositing skills makes me, me. And I'd love to offer my services to anyone who can use them.
